You bring nights and a planned session. Stars Sport answers with a score, a star rating, and a bedtime window. These terms are the floor under that exchange — not a poem, and not a medical oath. If you use the app, you stand on this floor.
The license you actually get
Stars Sport is licensed, not sold. You may install it on Apple devices you control and use it for your own training judgment. You may not copy the product, reverse the sky into someone else’s app, scrape the readiness cards as a public dataset, or rent the coach to a crowd. The name, the gold star, and the nightly loop belong to the project; your journal entries remain your record of your own days.
A coach, not a clinic
Readiness numbers are interpretations of sleep, debt, profile, and the workout you said you would do. They are not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a permission slip from a physician. If you are injured, ill, or unsure, a human clinician outranks any card the AI paints. Training always stays your decision. The app can be wrong, blunt, or overly cautious; the body still has the last word.
How the generated text is born
Portions of the readiness card are written with help from OpenAI, a third-party service. The app sends the text of the analysis prompt — the message assembled from what you entered for that evaluation — and receives language back. It does not ship a personal dossier with that request. Firebase, Singular, and OneSignal are also third-party services: they help the app run, measure installs, and deliver pushes. Their terms sit beside these ones. We do not operate a user-to-user network, so you are not agreeing to swap private nights with strangers.
Your side of the telescope
Enter times and sessions in good faith. Do not use the app to harm anyone, to probe the services above, or to overload the generation path with junk. Keep your device and Apple ID in your own hands. If onboarding asks for sport, level, goal, sleep need, and age group, those answers should be yours, not a borrowed identity.
When the sky changes
Features can shift: leagues, streaks, HTML cards, notifications. We may update the app, pause a vendor, or retire a constellation if it no longer holds. Continued use after an update is acceptance of the new chart. If you stop using Stars Sport, uninstall it; leftover journal files on the device follow Apple’s ordinary deletion rules.
Liability, kept in proportion
The app is provided as it stands. To the extent the law allows, Tom Roll is not liable for missed PRs, poor sleep after ignoring a bedtime goal, or any loss that comes from treating a generated card as gospel. Nothing here limits rights that a consumer statute says cannot be limited.
The short meridian
Use the coach to think, not to obey. Do not expect a social network. Do not expect us to harvest a private life. Expect a unique ID only where tracking and pushes need to recognize a device. For how that sits next to Firebase, Singular, OneSignal, and OpenAI, read the Privacy page — it is the sister document to this one.
